Signed Services for Deaf People

On the first Sunday of each month a group meets in St Mary's at 3-00 p.m. for a Communion Service in British Sign Language and spoken English.
Our service goes slower than most worship to allow time to sign everything and to help people who rely on lip reading. We also have all the words of the service projected onto the screen so that there are no books or pieces of paper to interfere with our signing.
Everyone is welcome at our service and if you are Deaf or Hard of Hearing you are particularly warmly invited.
We finish our service with tea and chat - come and join us!
Our next signed service will be on 3rd October 2010 at 3-00 p.m.
