Harvest 2016 Christmas Gift Boxes for Romania

Once again, we will be collecting shoeboxes to give to disadvantaged children in Romania . These gifts bring tremendous joy to the children who receive them, giving them the assurance that they are loved and valued. Please help us to make these children happy by giving them, not only the gift of a shoebox, but also the gift of hope and love.

Please note:

•  If you are not able to make up a complete box, you can always give a wrapped box with just a few gifts and we will add more items to it!
•  Or you can donate a few items to add to other boxes!

Information about how to make a shoebox and what items to put in, is given on the sheet available at the back of church. The boxes and donated items will be collected at our Harvest Festival Service on Sunday 25th September at 10am.

To help assist towards the transportation costs, it would appreciated if two £1 coins could be taped to the outside of the box.

Shoe boxes are full of surprise and delight for those who expect and usually get nothing!
