| Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. What started out as an invitation from the Archbishops’ of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer. Novena Day 9 | Father, help us be an authentic source of support and encouragement to those who have slipped to the margins of society in our communities. |
Novena Day 8 | Lord, we thank you for bringing light to the dark times in our lives. We ask that you look over the people we know who are in need of your comforting presence at the moment |
Novena Day 7 | Loving Father, reveal yourself to those who seek you. Give them peace and reassurance of your presence and grant they find their home in you |
Novena Day 6 | Father, we hold up to you those we know with disabilities. Pray that they may share their gifts and talents and are embraced in our communities. |
Novena Day 5 | Father, we pray for those in positions of leadership and authority. That your voice will guide decisions for the good of our communities |
Novena Day 4 | Lord, we thank you for all those who spend their lives trying to make ours better – for those who educate, train and advise in our community |
Novena Day 3 | Loving Father, we pray for those who care for us and for the more vulnerable in our communities. Grant that they be supported in all they do for us |
Novena Day 2 | Lord, we thank you for our families, friends and colleagues. We pray that we may be instrumental in showing your love to all those around us. |
